My wife and I are in the habit of finding local gems to dinate, Hilary's Roadhouse is one of them! Great food, good quantities and really good service. When you arrive there after 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday, you will wait, but don't fret them turn the tables quickly! The place is old and shows its wear a little. The thing is, you can either go to a chic place where they will offer you much more than the product they offer or you are worth it, or you can go on site and know that the owners do their best to balance food costs and value. I choose value!!
I loved this place, it's one of those hidden gems!!! I had breakfast here with my cousin. She knows I love ma and pa restaurants. It's a tight squeeze but it's so worth it. You seat yourself and your kinda packed in there. Even though your next to a stranger it's not awkward. Everybody is friendly and down to earth including the workers. Also, food was so flavorful and came out quickly. I absolutely love this place I wouldnt change a thing!! Including spacing.
Check out this charming second-generation diner in Maryland Heights. Lindsey is the sweetest server we've ever encountered! She made fantastic breakfast recommendations, served promptly, and the kitchen prepared everything to perfection—especially my medium-rare steak, which was incredible. I was so full that I had to take some home! My boyfriend also insists that the Eggs Hilary are to die for! We give it two thumbs up!
We recently visited this restaurant looking for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the eggs Benedict, which was absolutely delicious. My mother tried the biscuits and gravy, and she loved them as well. The coffee was excellent, and despite the restaurant being busy, the service was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back!

Loved it! Had burger and fries. The burger tasted like the ones I used to get at the diner mom would take me to when I was a kid. And they had those awesome crispy crinkle cut fries. Service was great too! And my toddler got chicken strips and I tried one and they are so good! Reminds me of small town diner life.
This was an incredible brunch and breakfast spot, featuring a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the food was plentiful and delicious. As is common in these types of places, you can enjoy unlimited coffee. The omelet was fantastic! I highly recommend it!
Whenever we have time for breakfast out we head to Hillary's. The food is good and generous and prices are great. The waitresses are just the best and friendliest! The cooks deal with food allergies without any fuss. A great place with the best grits I've ever eaten.
