Hill City Deli is not just a hidden gem; it's an absolute treasure! The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the food is freshly prepared with great attention to detail. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing and very affordable. We won't get into the disagreement over Taylor ham versus pork roll, as it's delightful no matter the name! The entrance can be found in the alley behind Springfield Ave. I stumbled upon this deli while taking a break from work, enjoying a nice walk and exploring the area, and I'm so pleased I did!
This is my go to deli when I'm in a rush and don't have time to sit down and eat. It's a tiny little spot, standing room only, but the service is excellent, just call 15 minutes ahead with your order! The owner and his wife are very sweet people and they put a lot of hard work into the business and it shows. I love supporting businesses like these!
Got some Italians on a recent visit. We were leaving to do the Cars Trucks Buses thing on the Turnpike. Subs hit the spot when we got home. Next time need to get a sloppy Joe. Consider yourself lucky if u live near Summit these subs were so stupendous!
It's always a great experience going to Hill City Deli! All of the staff are super friendly, they make suggestions when you want to try something new, and they prepare your food wonderfully! Everything is fresh and their hours are very reasonable!

Incredible Sloppy Joe sandwiches! I've been savoring them for more than 30 years. The blend of coleslaw and Russian dressing is outstanding. This place is truly one of the best delis in the area!
Hill City Deli is a hidden treasure located in a secluded alley in Summit. I strongly recommend trying the hot pastrami sandwich on rye!
