Oh my goodness. Good good good food. Fried calamari was amazing crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, drizzled with some amazing creamy lemony (aka magic) sauce. Ahi Tuna bowl was on point really good quality tuna, seared just right with the inside still rare as it should be, served over rice, avocado, magic sauce, crisp greens. One of the nicest vibes in the area is marred by consistently inattentive service. The waitstaff are friendly and pleasant but my experience over the last two years is that once your order is placed you won’t see anyone again for a long time. No check-in to see how the food is, no offer of water with your drink. If something is wrong with your order you’ll have to work hard to get someone’s attention or else be prepared to get up from your table to approach a hostess or waitstaff. I went this past Friday with friends to celebrate a birthday. The staff was polite and food was great. However there was live music that started about 7 and was so loud that we could not talk without yelling. it was a very unpleasant experience. We asked for it to be turned down and so did other customers, but the band just laughed. I didn't want to be at a concert, I wanted a nice meal with friends. I have been in the music industry in thebpastvandct h iscwas an unacceptable volume for dinner hour. don't go if you want a peaceful meal if they have live music. The music was some of my favorites but just too freaking loud.
This was my first time here, it is beautiful as soon as I walked it, the atmosphere was amazing. Our waitress Trish was so kind. She was very informative about our food questions, I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't want to pay a big price for something small. But that wasn't the case at all! I highly recommend the Caesar salad, they even make their own dressing! And I highly recommend the red wine braised short ribs, they were literally falling apart, mouth watering! Please try this place out if you are in Farmington!

Sadly my dinner was not at all good. The steak was tough and full of gristle, and after sending it back and getting a new one, the steak wasn't any better and they completely forgot the sauce. My partner's salmon was uncooked all the way through.
The clam chowder was lacking, with only potatoes and not much else. They advertise that the salmon is from Maine, but its color and texture suggest it isn't wild-caught. The risotto was undercooked as well. I won’t be returning.

We just had our first meal at this restaurant while visiting UMaine, and it was delightful! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and our server was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
