I went to this branch of Honest in Artesia, thinking it would be the same quality food and atmosphere as the one in Frederick, MD.I was utterly disappointed with the food and atmosphere. The Medu-Vada were not edible to eat. Instead of the traditional Urad daal, these were made with only Rava, loaded with oil. No flavor. I used 7 pieces of paper napkins to squeeze out all the oil, and the napkins were completely drenched in oil. The sambhar did not taste like traditional sambhar.I also ordered pav bhaji, and the bhaji was very liquidy. I have tried most of the Indian restaurants in LA area and this by far is the worst I have ever been to! Like I can't explain how bad the food was. They butcher Indian food like anything even after pricing is crazy high.We ordered paneer 65 , speical pav bhaji, cheese pulav .Paneer 65 was more like fried paneer on a bed of chill oil, sour cubes of paneer , overflowing oil. Nothing close to authentic of indo chinese.Pav bhaji is a joke here , bhaji was screaming diarrhea. I found the selection of vegan options on the Indian menu to be quite limited, so I decided to try a dish from the Indo-Chinese section instead. We ordered the Manchurian, which featured vegetable balls with some sauce. I thought if the manager recommended this dish, it might be one of the standout offerings on the menu. We planned to order more after tasting what we chose, but wanted to give it a try first since I wasn't familiar with the restaurant. Unfortunately, the Manchurian was just average—essentially some typical vegetable meatballs with a run-of-the-mill sauce. I will be very honest in giving this review ????..In the times where we have to wait for hours to get food served on our table this restaurant beats the norm with quick service even on the busiest days.We went in big group of hungry folks and ended upordering a variety of dishes..All the dishes tasted good but the one that stood out for me was the ?Bahubali Sandwich?.If youhave ever eaten those street side grilled cheese sandwiches in Mumbai or want to give it a try this would be the place to go..Mypersonal recommendation would be their sandwiches..There is another item bhakri pizza which I have heard a lot but kept it on myto eat list for next time.So to sum up..good food and quick delivery...

We come to Artesia twice a year for food from Utah. We had dinner and ordered Chinese fried rice. It was cold and super undercooked. We asked them to fix it but still it was very bad. We informed them again and asked for them to cancel the order. They still charged us for it and told us that cancellation is not possible. He argued a lot. Very bad customer service. The lady in the back had her hair open and was cooking the food without tying her hair or wearing a food net.we had ordered the same thing before but the taste and quality was different this time. Very bad food quality We don’t even want to give even one star.Never coming back again.

They charged me 18% tip saying I have a big party when it was literally 5 adults! They didn’t even ask me before charging me! Ridiculous highly recommend triple checking your receipts! I went back to ask and they said it’s written on the menu the menu was 3 pieces that weren’t even together no where did it state that they charge a “service fee”! I’ve been to so many restaurants and never been charged a tip without my consent!

Chaat had good flavors, I felt the crisps were a little too crispy. BhaturA was not super oily and crispy so that tasted good. The pineapple raita is literally just pineapple and yogurt I enjoyed but nothing too special. Service was fast. The bathroomcould use some cleaning up. Oddly this restaurant also has more security cameras than any restaurant I have ever been to notsure what they?re protecting against?

Need substantial improvement to the end product ordered rava dosa wondering what kind it was; sev puri was very mediocre and the bahubali sandwich also disappointing in all a very expensive ordeal … the only consolation was it was still all vegetarian :

The service is very fast. You hardly wait for 10 min and they start serving the food. I would recommend all the chat dish as they are very tasty. Pav bhai would be more tasty but it was 3/5. Dosa and Sambar was okay 2.5/5.

Food is delicious whatever you order. Only star less for cleanliness of the place. Floor was dirty as well as washroom. Plus should consider men and women separate washroom area instead of common.
