Hopia Like It, Winnetka

Loved the hopia at this place. My favorite was the baby and the yellow mungo. The guava cream was also very good. The nutella hopia was a bit odd. I love nutella, but it was too much in the hopia and became too overwhelming. The ube was not bad, but doesn't compare to the other three I've mentioned as my favorites. I also ordered their pork sisig with rice which was pretty good.

Nice little bakery with a selection of popular Filipino baked goods. Many of the items reflect the centuries-long history of contact with other nations. Excellent favorites including Pandan Buko, Halo Halo, Ube buns and more. The bakery shares space with a Filipino grill called Kalesa Grill. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Prices are fair.

Mouthwater and colorful Hoopie! Not clumpy sweet. The Halo Halo also tried, but not my favorite. Not enough flan and ube do not mix well. Only vanilla ice cream on top. Price is $8 parking lot abundant.

Kalesa?s food and desserts are great for max masarep? IKA, the lady in the by is sooo mabait and Albert is the same way? I know why? Cuz the owner treats all as a family!
