Der spontan gebuchte Kurzurlaub über Silvester war ein voller Erfolg. Das über Booking.com gebuchte Hotel hielt in allen Belangen die guten Bewertungen ein. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und die Unterkunft liegt zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Der Preis für ein Doppelzimmer liegt mit CHF 130/Nacht für Schweizer Verhältnisse im günstigen Bereich. Allerdings ist die Dusche/WC doch sehr eng. Dies ist aber auch der einzige Minuspunkt. Das Frühstück ist gut und das Essen gehört zu der Spitzenklasse.Die Aussicht vom Balkon über das Goms und hinauf in die Berge ist toll. Gerne kommen wir wieder einmal.
This Hotel/ restaurant is just on the edge of Murren just before the railway station ! Is very friendly and they speak English. We stopped for lunch here which they serve from 11.30am until 2pm ! It's typical Swiss food, I had a local sausage with onion gravy and a rosti and my husband had a rosti with fried eggs ! Both were cooked freshly for us and were delicious ! It's a good place to stop as it's not too busy and the setting is beautiful

Lage, Komfort, Betreuung und Bedienung sowie Restaurant sind ausgezeichnet.Das Personal - vom Chef-Paar Manfred und Doreen bis zum Service- und Küchenpersonal - alle sind stets "gut drauf" und sehr freundlich.Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung!
Die Qualität der Speisen hat uns äusserst positiv überrascht. Lammfilet mit Kartoffelgratin, Rindsfilet mit Marsala- und Béarnaise-Sauce und selbst die (Schweizer) Eglifilets schmeckten sehr gut. Weinkarte mit schönen Walliserweinen zu sehr angemessenen Preisen.
