A true Gem of Northeast Philly!. This place is small, elegant, and a true gem of the Northeast. My parents recently moved back home from Florida and have been searching for a new Thai place to eat, after going there last night...I think they've found it! It's BYOB...AWESOME! If you go and forget to bring a nice bottle of Sake there's a most convenient liquor store directly across the street!! <br/ <br/ I'm a vegetarian and they had a great selection for us non-meat eaters. The prices were fair, the food was impeccable, and the service was outstanding. Their Panaeng Curry was amazing, but I had the sauce from the Mango Curry as well as the Curry Duck and it was equally as good. My mom ordered...

*Takeout review* Food: 5/5 Parking: Street Meter Parking House of Thai was recommended to me by couple of my colleagues, some of which would drive 30 minutes just for their food. After ordering couple popular items, I can see why. At the time of my arrival, there was some minor construction ongoing. But that didn't impact my experience, since we ordered for takeout. What was ordered: Spring Rolls (Good) Thai Fried Rice with Chicken (Delicious) Drunken Noodle (Absolutely delicious) I can see why it is so popular. Ordered through Uber eats. Arrived hot and delicious! Everybody in my household enjoyed the food. And the Thai iced tea was absolutely delicious. Great portions and yummy food. Dish in the photo is Beef Pad-See-ew

Nice Thai restaurant. Pad Thai was good. The spicy eggplant was a bit too salty. Nice, clean Thai restaurant. Also be warned, the Thai iced tea will keep you up all night.

They'll sub tofu for meat in almost anything. Absolutely delicious noodles and curries and soups. Very well balanced. Fast and polite service.
