Humber - Reservar una mesa

I have been to Humber several times, both for brunch and evening drinks. I remember having a pleasant meal here a couple of years ago and have been keen to return for brunch for a while. I thought a good opportunity would be when my friend was visiting me in Wollongong for the weekend. We checked out the menu online ahead of time and were excited to see some delicious brunch options. Upon arrival, we were given a menu completely different to the one we viewed on Humber's website. There were four all day breakfast options that consisted of banana bread, smashed avo on toast, and two extravagant big breakfasts. We were keen on having a simple meal of toast with eggs, and I have ordered toast with bacon from here in the past with my coffee. We placed our order and were told that we could not order toast with eggs and bacon. While I understand this was not strictly a menu option, these items were all available in other dishes and are a breakfast staple. I do order this from restaurants for brunch and have never been told this was not doable. It was suggested that I could order the smashed avo on toast and THEN add eggs and bacon to it. My initial reaction was confusion and I just ended up ordering the smashed avo on toast by itself, along with my coffee. My friend ordered a chicken burger with chips. We received our food and my avocado had been clearly frozen and thawed, then smashed on my toast. It was still very cold. My friend's chips were so saturated in seasoning (she doesn't recall this menu item mentioning the chips were seasoned at all), that they were orange in colour and inedible. As for the coffee, I drink mine without sugar normally as I thoroughly enjoy the taste of good coffee and frothed milk. I could not drink it, even after adding two packs of sugar, due to its sour taste. I am so disappointed that I can't recommend this place to anyone anymore, and am slightly embarrassed that I brought my friend from out of town to this establishment. I don't think I'll even be returning for evening drinks.

I booked Humber for my 50th birthday. I booked a portion of the middle level for 30 guests. The whole experience ran like clockwork. Our area was clearly marked, when I arrived. I had a clear point of contact, who ensured the logistics on the night ran smoothly.We had plenty of space allocated, which was a godsend! We had more than enough food. Access to the bar, and managing the tab were seamless. The staff looked after us. I did note that security were on the ball, too, maintaining the awareness of who was coming and going from our area.On the topic of food, we had a few vegetarians in our group, and 1 diabetic. All were well catered for.All in all, a good night. Thanks to all the staff at Humber, both in the room on the night, and behind the scenes.

We had a terrible breakfast here. The tea and coffee was cold. The food was cold as well - not enjoyable at all. The fried eggs on the one plate where placed ontop of each other and were gluggy and joined together as one fried egg. Yuck!! We asked for salt and it eventually was brought to our table half way through the meal. We could not finish our meals as they were that revolting! Very disappointed. The open eating area upstairs is very shabby looking and there was water all over the floor - workplace hazard - a quick mop up could have fixed this.

Recently attended a networking function and was tossing up wether to eat before. How many times have you been to a fingerfood function and left starving? Well how I was pleasantly surprised. The fingerfood selection was not only fantastic but substantial. The quality was second to none. The venue itself is amazing and has all the trimmings. I will definitely return to try their cafe menu.

Booked out the middle floor for a birthday and everyone had an outstanding time. Great staff, delicious fries and dumplings, cool atmosphere. Would highly recommend having a function here.
