Sakura Sushi - Reservar una mesa

My wife and I are regular visitors to this restaurant and it is always a great experience. The food is first class and presented with care and style. Personally, I am a sucker for their Popcorn Prawn dish ( a little bit spicy, but wonderful ) and my wife loves their "half cooked " dishes. Staff, I think, are mainly Uni students so they turn over relatively quickly but they do a good job. Everything is freshly prepared so you might have to wait a bit but it is well worthwhile. Value for money - ichi ban !!!

I really like a couple of their special dishes.. including Chirashi salad (sashimi, green soba noodles, salad leaves, tempura crumbs and a yummy sauce), but others are less than memorable. Service is often very slow. I once waited 40mins for take away early one evening when there were only a couple of tables occupied.

Stopped in at this sushi train and was amazed at their selections. They even asked if I wanted any of the fresh hot sui mai or scallop rolls which I did take advantage of. Very good taste and selection. The only downfall is someone my size can blow $30 without even trying too hard but besides that would go again :-)

For a solo diner, there are limited options. Only a few bento options. Great value for 2 or more people. Cheapest sashimi in Wollongong. Friendly staff. Popular with local business meetings/lunches. If some extra lunch specials were offered, this would be a 5 our of 5 review.

The food are really good. The fish is always fresh. But the staff needs some improvement. It is a medium restaurant, so it is better to book a table before you go.
