It had been almost 20 yrs since I had a Philly cheesesteak. So as I headed back to the DMV from Philly, I took a slight detour to get a cheesesteak. Within one minute of entering the restaurant, the staff greeted me and took my order. I ordered the cheesesteak with grilled onions and peppers. It was THE most delicious cheesesteak I've ever tasted. The bread was the very best, and the cheese was very flavorful. Besides my dining great experience, I really enjoyed the interaction between the local patrons and the staff. I look forward to returning.
We randomly found this place on our way to another event and I am glad that we did. When we walked in we were immediately greeted. Customer service 10/10. My husband got the cheesesteak with hot peppers and onions. He is not a spice guy, so the peppers were hot to him but overall the sandwich was a 8/10 . I had the Big Muff with mushrooms which was really good. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly. It feels like your are having a good meal with neighbors. If you are in the area you should definitely check them out.
Wonderful old school breakfast diner Service couldn't have been better. Excellent cook and reasonably priced. Open for appr 60 yrs i hope they last another 60. I have never written this in a review before but i can't think of one thing they couldn't have done better. Great food for a very reasonable price in the post-covid times. The owners are very friendly and always make sure they get the orders right in a timely manner. The inside is pretty cozy, I usually get food to go but there's a reason they've been in business so long.Food: 5/5
