This was our first time going to a Hurts Donut. The girl behind the counter just kept asking how many we wanted, a half dozen, a dozen? After about the 3rd time I told her this was our first time there, and we aren't sure what we want, and we are just looking at all our options. There wasn't a line, no one was waiting behind us, but she was very impatient and wanted to know how many donuts we wanted. I finally said a half dozen to get her to stop badgering us. She wasn't helpful, didn't recommend anything. My son wanted to do a shake and a donut. She said she doesn't do that, we asked if someone else could help us then. Another lady came out and asked what we wanted, I told her my son wanted...
The donuts are meant to die for me, and for me the turns are all...5 stars alone; but the reason for the 3 stars... there was a younger woman working in the night we visited. This was my first time here, my friend and I rounded everything we wanted. I was a little confused about the 1/2 dozen and full dozen deal... something about the Twists not included in the deal.... I didn't know there was a deal I should start with, but he and they were talking about it all the time. I said something like, wait, what's the deal... totally confused. She continued to say good if this is not affordable for you, then you can stay at the lower rows. My friend looked at me so fast, he knows that I absolutely...

If you want to choose from a variety of special donuts, this is your place. A friend of us stops at any time when he is near a whore Donut (he lives out of the state), and we are finally over. It was difficult to choose from the many flavors; we left on Twix and Andes Mint Donuts. Both were delicious for their toppings, although the cakes donuts themselves were not exemplary. So we'd go back, but don't make a special trip.
This is the last place in Iowa to be open 24 hours a day (They are Missouri chain and they are made to be open 24 hours a day) but they rarely make the donuts fresh anymore! This is a great franchise and the donuts in Missouri are usually great but like most things that come to Iowa they are doing it the Iowa way.
