We both got breakfasts. Mike got your basic 2 eggs, ham, hashbrowns and white toast. He didn't care much for the hasbrowns, but he loved the rest, even the toast was great. I order a corn beef with pastrami to go yesterday and when I got to work to eat...the meat on the sandwich was measured ridiculously..all the sides of the bread was touching..the lady with the blonde wig made my 17$ sandwich..she put a small ball of shredded meat in the middle like she was making a sandwich for her a child's lunch and it was literally a breadwich..put some meat on a man's sandwich..what up Chuck!!!

It's been around for nearly forty years and trust me they know how to make a mean sandwich. The place has it down to a science. I was looking for the Holy Grail of Corned Beef sandwiches and I found my treasure.
What a wonderful hidden gem! I ordered the hot turkey with mashed potatoes, while my friend had the Reuben sandwich. We inquired about the soup, and our waitress was incredible. She shared that everything is homemade and even brought us samples of the soup! The food was outstanding!
Finally made it to Hygrade. Since I was solo I sat at the counter. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Ordered a Corned Beef and Swiss on w/ a side of slaw. Both very good. Very tart pickle spear. The only thing that would make it better is denser rye.
