Party of 5 for brunch. I ordered the Balkan poached eggs. Unfortunately, one of them was hard cooked--like solidly hard boiled. Very odd. Service was sub-par. Our third time here was disappointing, especially since we picked this restaurant to celebrate 2 birthdays. Moroccan beignets were delicious and everyone else enjoyed their various meals. I was the only one with the hard-cooked egg . I'll prob be back. Just wish the waitress would have checked on us ONCE because then maybe I could have gotten a replacement poached egg. Restaurant did adjust the bill accordingly.
Despite it being a busy night, we were seated immediately without any wait. Our server was friendly and well-informed about the menu. The cocktail menu was impressively expansive. The food was creatively presented and meticulously prepared. Our dishes came out quickly and were absolutely delicious. Overall, it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Detroit. Wow.
Can’t believe this place had been here 2 1/2 years and this is my first visit. We shared a bunch of apps they were all fabulous! We especially loved the duhhka although we thought it needed z’tar chips for dipping instead of potatoe chips. The hummus bowl w/lamb meatballs were awesome. It was just what we needed after having a cocktail at Two James across the street.
My wife and I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The service was exceptional and we loved the menu presentation. I ended up choosing a fermented cider sour after the introduction. The food was delicious, especially the Lamb for two dish. We will definitely be returning. Bravo to the Two James Team for their great work!

Food was amazing and everyone was really nice, but servers brought food out randomly timed, so I stared at my dinner for about ten minutes before two others came out and then five more minutes before the fourth entree, it was pretty unusual.
The food was fantastic and beyond flavorful. Bursts of happiness for one's palate with every bite. The decor of the restaurant was clean, cute and inviting. Our waitress gave top notch customer service. Will definitely return!!!
Our party of 6 enjoyed all of the appetizers at the restaurant. Each dish was delightful, with fresh and flavorful ingredients.
Delicious meal, great service and inventive food! We will for sure be back again!
