Was here for lunch. It is a good place to have a reasonably cheap lunch in Geneva. The food is good and always have a choice of dishes, salads and even desserts. Their fish and chips (perch) is good and cheap for Geneva. The environment is the normal Ikea food hall with plenty of space and seating. If you don't feel like buying soda or any drinks, there is a corner with a tap and plastic glass for drinking water.
We went to mostly check out the store to see if it was better than the one in Bangkok it's not. It was past lunch hour, so we decided to check out the restaurant as well. It offered basically the same menu, but the food was kinda bland and boring. Yes, it's really cheap, but then again, you get what you pay for. So, unless you're a huge fan of meatballs and mash, skip the restaurant.
Had a very lengthy and ineffective back and forth with 4 different services after i realized the shop advised me on the wrong dimensions for a complex wardrobe and I tried to correct idea's mistake. Not only was it disorganized and rude but also the was no attempt to offer a solution nor to be customer oriented in their response after they clearly messed up.
Being Swedish I am drawn here as a moth to a fire. Normally have the salmon followed by 20 meatballs with mash and sauce. Food is ok and it is very popular amongst the people of Geneva to go here. Looking to some home essentials, found a very rich store. (only negative point: parking is not free) Had lunch: very good recipes very convenient coffee may be better)
You can't expect gourmet cooking for those very low prices, but the main dishes are okay and the desserts, hot dogs and macchiato are actually quite good.
