Ilios Mediterranean Cuisine

Any visit to Seal Beach get Ilios for my family. Last year I grabbed the same food to eat at the beach, but something seemed off last time. But the flavors keeps wife asking for those morrocan rubbed shrimp each time, so grabbed food at the end of beach time to take home to eat. Seems like all back to the Ilios or Evzin quality of before: Absolutely delicious and I cleaned up my chicken shawarma and wife was sad to give up some shrimps to the kid. Baba ganoujh kinda pricey but wife always requests it, so no choice to not get the sad face. P.S. Hold on...did this place close!?! That makes me sad because I had this review sitting in my drafts and I'm finally posting it. Awesome date spot! The interior is modern and dimly lit in the evening. Came here with Hubby on a Saturday night. Was welcomed by the friendly staff. The menu marks a few vegan items though if I had any questions, the staff was helpful to confirm what is plant-based. We started with a Trio of Spreads. We selected the Regular Hummus, Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus, and Chipotle Hummus. We have been enjoying the small family establishment for over a year. All of the food is delicious, the price point is more than reasonable and the service is reliably impeccable. Tell them what you like and let them make a recommendation on food and wine. Weather a quaint dinner after work or a family gathering you won't be disappointed. I moved here from Manhattan, have lived and eaten in several culinary capitals of the world, this place is wonderful. One of my first reviews because this place is so special. The moussaka is perfect comforting, perfectly cooked, melts in your mouth. The halloumi appetizer is salty peppery and sweet. The couple that owns this place treats you like family. Went to dinner a few weeks ago. Good foid and customer service. This evening, my friend wanted to take her family to the restaurant this evening. I was given a call, and was told the restaurant is closed. I called the phone number associated with the restaurant, and the phone number is now out of service.
