Little cafe in the Unley Shopping centre. It does all the usual bits and bobs that you expect to find here. Coffee, cakes, light lunches and the like. On a Saturday morning they seem to be catering to the retiree morning tea crowd - lots of walking frames and gophers about the place. Service was friendly and efficient. The cakes seem to be sourced from Elbio, so no complaints there. Coffee was drinkable without being great (or even good) A cappucino seemed to have about a tablespoon of drinking chocolate in top rather than a sprinkle and tasted strong and not entirely pleasant. Still, I've had worse. So don't expect anything too special and you'll be all right.
I was marked by the necessity for bananenbrot and ordered a coffee. I asked the servierma about butter on my banan bread (of course I felt that she was new, but she put my order through. After 5 minutes my coffee came out and was told that my brot will come soon. by two magazines for 10 minutes then went and asked about my brot at the theke, the girl told me that it would soon be ready and asked me if I wanted it to roast. super. I wait back, finished my coffee and not yet a bread. five minutes later, a dame brought out from the kitchen, no butter, just sitting on a dish. This is the worst run cafe in Adelaide. my wife and daughter went in there for a nice relaxing lunch, daughters food was brought our reasonably quickly, my wife had to wait for half an hour for them to toast a pre-made sandwich, when my wife went to see what was taking so long the Manager came out and loudly abused her in front of the entire cafe and refused to give her her money back; My wife is the most timid person I know so If you want to get abused then go ahead and try this place. I later rang the manager and was abused myself on the phone. WOW this Manager is an absolute disgrace I am extremely surprised that this place is still in business.
