So I've never been before and since my boss bought an employee, we suggested. First The place is HUGE! Several seating and bar areas, including an upper floor where we sat. The building is old and the updates have kept a lot of this character that was beautiful to see. This restaurant is perfect for a family dinner! We visited on a Monday night, and despite being short-staffed, the team made us feel like their top priority. The staff was very attentive, and we were seated immediately. The wine list may be concise, but it offers a good variety. Although we didn't try any cocktails, the menu looked intriguing with some unique options. Both the steaks and the burger were fantastic, and the loaded baked potatoes were delightful. We also enjoyed the excellent chocolate cake. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely be back!
This place is great for a family dinner! Came on a Monday night with my family. They were short-handed, but still we made ourselves feel like the main customer. The staff was very attentive and we could sit right away. The wine list is short but diverse. Cocktail menu looks wild that we did not try it, but there were some interesting elements that are least to say. Steaks and burgers were fantastic. Loaded baked potatoes were also wonderful. I've heard a lot of good things about this place, so I decided to give it another shot with a different group of friends. Unfortunately, my experience was still underwhelming. I ordered a rare steak, but it arrived more on the medium side. My girlfriend's medium-rare steak was overcooked as well, with no pink in sight. The fries were overly greasy, reminiscent of bacon strips. If I'm spending $50 on steaks, I expect them to be cooked properly. This isn't going to be my go-to steakhouse.
I'm giving this restaurant only two stars because it took a long time for them to process my to-go order when I first arrived. The hostess was also quite rude. As for the food, it was exactly what the girl on the phone described—typical bar food. The French dip, along with the dipping sauce, was overly salty. Additionally, the fries could have used more cooking time.
I love the atmosphere here. That's the first thing that caught my eye. Food was very good. I had the finger steaks, a friend had the pork nachos, and another friend ordered the pork chop. All tasted excellent. Adriana was an excellent waitress! Thank u Adriana! Would recommend for a good meal and fun western charm!

Only to give two stars, because when I first came there, it took them forever to check me when I ordered to go! The hostess had an attitude. The food is just what the girl on the phone said Bar Essen. The French dip and the diving sauce extremely salty. The frits had to be cooked for longer.
