Don’t be fooled when you first enter, it’s decor isn’t bright bold or brand new it’s immaculate but instantly cosy it’s warmth makes you feel comfortable and instantly welcome. Where to begin with the staff, warm friendly attentive and they have an amazing relationship with the returning customers who have clearly been coming for years, warm hugs at the door to customers they’ve not seen in a while…. This restaurant has been consistently fantastic for the past 17 years. We are from Aberdeen but whenever we visit Glasgow, we always make sure to dine here because the food is always delicious. On a recent Saturday evening around 7 pm, the place was packed but the owner managed to find us 2 seats. The staff are incredibly friendly and always take the time to chat and catch up with us. This family-owned business has been around for over 40 years and is a must-visit if you're in Glasgow. I ordered the South Indian garlic chilli chicken while my wife had the korma Ceylonese, both of which were excellent.
The staff at this restaurant are friendly, but the vegetarian food we ordered was underwhelming. The Dahl was good, but we were surprised to find food coloring in our korma, which seemed outdated. The overall atmosphere of the place is old-fashioned and could use some improvements. We were overcharged by £20 on our bill, which was hand-calculated. While we were able to catch the mistake, I would suggest the restaurant start using itemized bills. In my opinion, there are better Indian restaurants nearby.
Attended for birthday dinner not disappointed The family run business does not disappoint. The service was excellent The veg and mushroom pakora the best I've tried light to taste. I had lamb Rogan Josh which was fantastic melt in your mouth. My wife had South Indian Garlic chicken again outstanding. If looking for Indian food in Glasgow don't by-pass this Glasgow gem

Really friendly and helpful staff the food was truly amazing. If you’re looking for a good Indian meal in Partick this is the place to go. I was there with my daughter and 2 granddaughters before we went to the SEC Armadillo They had a great menu also a children’s menu which was perfect for my youngest granddaughter. First time here and can’t wait to go back
I booked a table for 13 family members to celebrate my husband's retirement. We used to bring our two children here when they were young, so it was wonderful to now bring our six grandchildren. The staff, as always, were attentive and lovely. Each of us enjoyed the food, and it definitely won't be our last visit.
First time visit here and certainly won't be the last. Food was amazing, much better than Mr Singh's in taste, portion size and price wise. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a great curry in Partick. Staff very welcoming from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Can't wait to return.
Husband I used to live close by this restaurant took our family in regularly ,,moved away ,we were in tonight 19 th Oct ,,so glad we did ,food was brilliant stat are so nice friendly ,Vicky Roxy just lovely was really nice to see the owner/ dad ,he never changes ,lovely man ,,will be back soon
