Not only is this one of my favorite places to eat, but it's also one of the places I would consider safe for my daughter who has allergies to gluten, dairy, eggs and a list of other things. When you order, mention your allergies and they will annotate it on your order. If you can't have the bun because of a gluten/egg allergy, you can get a lettuce wrap or a tomato bun. Egg allergies also means no spread sauce. I think they have a separate cooktop for burger patties with a dairy allergy so it stays separate from the burgers with cheese. They also use sunflower oil for the fries.
The location on Gellert is usually less crowded than the one by the DMV. Went with the double double with fries well done. I suggest ordering your fries well done if you like them a little crispy. The way In N Out cooks their fries they tend to be a little soft with no crunch. If you can get to this location around 11am you won't have to worry about lines of cars or people but, if you arrive around noon? Good luck because I feel that from noon until close is their rush hour!!
CLEAN store. Service and food MEET expectations of why I choose to go here. A 'great ' In 'n ' Out burger place. Ive ordered and gotten well cooked fries twice; BOTH times was done right. Awesome. Feels and tastes perfect. EAT AT THIS daly city location ONLY. You 'll be glad you did. (I live closer to the other In 'n ' Out on Washington St, and i will never go there ever again.
I placed a car order, and before I arrived, a young man was taking the orders ahead of mine. Although there was a line, it moved quickly. The burgers were flavorful, and the portion sizes were reasonable for the price.

Steve was friendly service was fast. The place is clean as a standard In-N-Out Burger is. Always happy to get this when I am in California. Neapolitan shake was the best hacker ever showed me
Absolutely fantastic burger at an excellent price! The drive-thru can get quite busy, but going inside is definitely faster. The staff are consistently friendly and cheerful.
They always make it perfect here! The line was short and the wait wasn't long. This is a number 1 on the menu. Double double with fries and a drink. Definitely recommend!!
Super long line, but employee was taking orders very far down the parking lot increasing efficiency. Lots of comfort fast food for cheap!! $35 for 5 people!!
