Stopped and tried this place while going through Brockville with a friend. It was mid-afternoon so was worried it wouldn't be open. But they open at 11:30 and stay open throughout the day except on Tuesdays. Nice decor, larger than expected restaurant. They didn't have dumplings on the menu and no chili oil, so I had my doubts. We ordered lemon chicken, black pepper beef, and I.D. noodles which are thin rice noodles with pork, chicken, and shrimp. This latter dish is not typically spicy but they spiced it up for us. Island Delight is located in central downtown Brockville, and has been operating for about 6 years. Words cannot begin to describe how delicious, fresh, tasty and 'crispy' all their menu offerings are! Lots of 'Pad Thai' choices, with wonderful, 'earthy' (not spicy) seasonings, and a decent 'Chinese' menu as well, for an excellent sit-in or take-out experience.

My dad and I visited March 24th for dinner. I had the pad thai and it was amazing! 4 large shrimp, some chicken and tofu present in this dish for 11.95$ my dad had the green curry chicken and he said it was delicious as well. We would definetly return. Casual atmosphere. All in for both of us to eat, each had a soup starter and caesers for 51$ including tax.

I took 2 children and a senior here for lunch and I let them know we had to leave in 40 minutes as we had a cruise to catch. Egg rolls and spring rolls were enjoyed by the children who are picky eaters. The won ton soup was fantastic. The lemon chicken and shrimp dishes were very good.

Nothing special here folks. Average Chinese food. Regular type dishes. Cooked well. We were traveling bacteria to Toronto from Ottawa and did a quick search. Decore was average. Main Street was a treat. Wish we were there during business hours

My wife and I go to Island Delight or we order take out regularly. Their food is always fresh and hot. The homemade egg rolls are delicious! We also like the prices, their combo plates are very reasonable.

We frequently order the dinner for 4 to bring home and have always been very pleased with the Quality and Quantity (can easily feed 6- just add 2 more eggrolls). Fast and hot every time....

Great location if you're going to the BAC for a show. Just a nice walking distance to wear off a great meal. Food is very fresh and homemade. The best place in town for Chinese food.

Good selection of either Chinese or Thai. Staff will try to suit your taste buds. They also do take out. Lots of tables.
