Fantastic place to get rid of my birthday weekend! I visited this restaurant 3 times before, always had a great experience and this time was no different. My party of 6 ate, laughed and had a good time in the comfort of this place. Perfect customer service from Diondra (Guyana)! She was punctual and punctual. We ordered the delicious salmon bites, jerk wings, oxen, curry chicken / shrimps, roti, drinks gallore, etc! Everything was great! My Gf's were impressed and I look forward to reviving!!
The food was outstanding, but I did have a small issue with the Hawaiian Hennessy drink. I understand they were likely trying to preserve the pineapples by freezing them, but as they thawed at the table, it created a mess with water everywhere. I ended up using quite a few napkins to clean it up, which made the drink feel a bit unwieldy. I've had this drink prepared flawlessly in the past.
I love the food and atmosphere at Island Spice. In our current state, they are taking every precaution to make sure that everyone is safe, all while still serving great tasting food and excellent customer service. There was live music and it was such a good time. Excellent food( can never remember to get a good pic Bc I just start eating)! And the Henny punch was just what I needed!
