Island Spice Jerk House

I like checking for reviews as much as you do so I leave honest ones! The food here is really good! I tried it a couple times now and the chicken was spiced really good!! The only comment for the owner is to not make the chicken so charred. It kinda takes away the taste from the tasty chicken when you bite into a charred piece(not sure if this is how authentic Jerk suppose to be). But other wise their food is worth trying- the patties too

I have ordered from this restaurant more than 30 times, and the food has consistently been fantastic. I usually order through Skip the Dishes, and even with the delivery wait time, it's always worth it because the quality of the food is exceptional. I highly recommend the oxtail—it's my favorite dish on the menu. I believe this is the best takeout in Thunder Bay, and I can't recommend it enough. Definitely 5 stars! Give it a try!

The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. The food is outstanding, with the perfect combination of flavors and spice. The portion sizes are generous and fairly priced. The dining area is spotless. I will definitely make a point to return on my next trip to the city, even though it's a bit out of the way. It's absolutely worth the detour!

A co-worker told me they really liked the food here, so I thought I would try because I really enjoy Caribbean food. I wasn't disappointed. The food was cheap, very good, good portions, and the beautiful young lady who served me was very friendly and polite. I'm looking forward to my next order. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food is good, and I particularly enjoyed the chicken, rice, and paddy's. However, I found it lacking in spiciness, which I was hoping for, so I had to add my own spice. While that wasn't my original plan, the overall quality of the food is very good.

I ordered a Jerk Chicken meal for the first time and it was delicious , the chicken was just right , not too dry and well flavored! will definately recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! I always choose this spot for my go-to delivery. I love ordering the jerk chicken meal and adding extra oxtail sauce—delicious!
