Business was brisk on Valentine's Day first time at this location. We both opted for the lobster special. The large bowl of lobster bisque was wonderful, best I have ever had in NJ. The lobster was good, accompanied by corn on the cob clearly cooked hours earlier and microwaved. I had to flag down the waitress to ask for butter and salt. Cole slaw was mediocre. We decided to split the special dessert, a red velvet whoopie pie, but should have skipped it as it was overcooked (hard crust) and bland. Not very impressed for all we spent on dinner out that evening...
Jack's is an absolute gem. It's an unpretentious little bistro, with fresh, delicious seafood elevated through the execution of inventive and exciting recipes. The value is outstanding, with Manhattan quality meals at a suburban price point. We are longtime fans' and visit regularly. From pan seared scallops, the aptly titled Lobster Bomb, or a simple lobster grilled cheese, every dish brings out the best natural flavor of the ingredients. You will not be disappointed by a visit to Jack's!
Lobster dinner was great! Just enough portion. Lobster was cooked right, soft delicious. Our server was attentive even though it was busy for Valentineâs celebration. The music fits the occasion and we can hear it well even if so many customers. Thank God for open table because we had no wait time. Weâll definitely return to this local restaurant, minutes from our house!! Liza Bob
Pictured is the lobster grilled cheese and the crab cake sandwich which was my order and omg! It was amazing! A great big crab cake with all crab meat no fillers on a english muffin.. it was great. Filled me up with a couple of bites i couldn't finish it. I look foward to returning

I have been craving a lobster roll for a long time. Finally decided to go and have one and be so very disappointed. The lobster meat was dry, the roll a bit doughy. I've had much better there. this was just eh. maybe another try?
Food was delicious, our waiter very helpful and friendly. We had crab, lobster fritters, pan seared shrimp, lobster tails and the sliders. We will definitely be back, highly recommend Jackâs.
This was my first time here and I was very happy with the service. The arugala salad was enough for people and the fish tacos were excellent. I would definitely go back!
So much fun. A Maine moment without the drive. Friendly service, cool guests, delicious lobster roll, succulent corn on the cob, relaxing environment!! Love this place!

Wonderful escape with a great atmosphere and classic New England sea food menu. Food was fresh and well prepared and the friendly service was delightful.
