Went for takeout yesterday, first time in the place. Location is good with ample parking, but I was unsure about the free parking at the museum across the way, since the sign said permit parking only, so we parked in the street in front of the adjacent apartment building. Saw the dumpster that was out on the sidewalk. I know someone wrote a negative review about that dumpster, but it was nowhere near the entrance, so it didn 't bother me. After reading the reviews, I decided to try the Lobster Bisque and New England clam chowder. The bisque was average, nothing special. The flavor was decent, but it was too thick. The New England clam chowder, however, was awful! It was thick and had a pudding-like consistency. The clams were tough and the soup was bland. Additionally, the portion sizes were very small for the price. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant.
We got the lobster bomb and it was delicious and creamy but super heavy especially with the bisque soaked bread. I found the clam chowder had a roux that was slightly split but the lobster roll was tasty. The crab cake had good flavor but the crab meat wasn't in as large lumps as expected.
The food here is good. We ate in the sitting area and the food came quick. The one complaint is that I had to wait a long time for the waiter to come back to the table to refill the drink. One of my favorite places locally.

I thought the Dungeness crabs would of been while crabs not just one cluster. Nothing was seasoned, including the pasta. It was okay but disappointing especially for what I paid.
The Salmon, shrimp, and Clam Chowder at this restaurant is consistently outstanding. However, I do wish there was a wider variety of vegetable options to choose from.
The Connecticut style Lobster roll was delicious. The broccoli was a generous portion, seasoned perfectly. Everything tasted fresh. I would definitely reorder.
The flavors are delicious and the ingredients seem fresh. However, I would prefer larger portion sizes considering the prices.

Good service and clean atmosphere. The food does not sit around. Chicken sandwich is great and the lobster bisque is amazing
