I would like to express my gratitude to Ana, our server, and Chef Wayne for making us feel so welcome at their restaurant. The service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Every dish we tried was delicious, starting with the appetizers, which included sweet golden fried plantains, sticky jerk chicken fingers, meat pie, spicy curry shrimp, and a jerk chicken macaroni casserole. The main course was generous in portion, and the chocolate cake with rum sauce was simply out of this world. The watermelon and ginger punch was a refreshing complement after such a satisfying meal. This place is absolutely terrible! The portion sizes for the price are shocking, and to make matters worse, the entire restaurant is infested with roaches, along with the food you’re eating. It’s clear that they do not care about their customers at all. Paying $30 for a plate of food infested with roaches is unacceptable. If I could give this place negative stars, I definitely would.
The food was delicious! atmosphere was calm and a bit too quiet, some music would’ve been nice. I ordered the jerk chicken from the lunch menu, server Enye asked me for the two sides failing to inform me that in getting two sides makes it an entre. Other than that detail, Enye was nice and attentive. Even though I paid more than I meant to, it was definitely worth it.
Let me be honest with you: the food is great. I’m not usually a big meat eater, but that jerk chicken is absolutely delicious every single time. The mac and cheese tastes like it’s straight from heaven, and you really can’t go wrong with the rice and peas or the cabbage either. Next time, I plan to try the oxtail. Plus, they have karaoke too!

It’s been years since I’ve been here. I give them 5 . (That’s saying a lot) I just might move to Brown Stew Fish Rudy Boy Jerk Chicken I will say this. The wait was pretty long but they gave us complimentary plantains which were pretty good. After seeing and eating the food it was definitely worth the wait.
I was visiting from Oklahoma this weekend and Jamaica Gates was a really nice surprise. This was my first time there, but I really enjoyed myself! Great friends, delicious food, and beautiful music!!! We had a wonderful time! My kudos to the chef and our lovely waitress! We'll be back!
The food is phenomenal. I had the Kingston trio. Will definetly be back!!!! Took myself out on a date been wanting to come here I must say It was worth the wait. Very authentic
I ordered from DoorDash and absolutely loved it! The fish was flavorful and delicious, and the oxtails were great as well. I have no complaints at all.

Absolutely love the atmosphere! The staff has a great attitude and the food was good. The water could be served a bit faster but I absolutely loved it!
Delicious and great service! We had the curry chicken and it was so good! Jamaican crawler drink was delicious! I had two! Highly recommend!
