Absolutely appalling service from a store that I had such high expectations of. I paid for nominated day delivery for a birthday present that failed to arrive on time. Email communication regarding the delay was disappointing and dismissive, little more than “unfortunately” it’s not going to happen so lump it! A phone call to the store resulted in me speaking to Nick who was very professional, apologetic did his best to help but the email responses received were very indifferent. Yes Jarrolds refunded my postage and initially offered £5 compensation upgraded to £10 but in all honesty I would have far preferred my nominated day delivery to have arrived on time. This is a review for Jarrolds’ Print and Copy Centre in the Art Stationary Building. I have used this service once before with no concerns, but today I was not as fortunate. The manager (who was at the printing desk) told me he can not print anything for me as it is too late in the day (it was 4 PM, they close at 5 PM) and he also needs to supervise another merchandiser on the shop floor and that I may wish to return tomorrow. He never asked what or how many pages I needed printing. This laissez-faire attitude was below what I was expecting from Jarrolds’ (and from any other respectable departament store). No wonder the shop was almost empty. In fact I won’t return there very soon either.

I love the idea of a fairly posh family run department store. I love the food basement. However it is quite pricey in all departments. I rarely buy anything but love the relaxed atmosphere and old-fashioned vibe. It's good for unusual presents.

Amazing quality! First time coming across the brand. I also want to say if you pop in ask for Max he’s the man! We had a very interesting conversation about the brand, trust me when I say he knows it all! Top man! Happy customer.
Beautiful department store. Reminds me of being a child walking around all of the wonderful departments. Great food. Loads of choice. And a stunning building. Really is a gem of Norwich..
The food court is somewhat special and a hidden gem for Norwich, friendly staff throughout the whole shop.
Jarrolds is a proper shop, staff are helpful and I love their local advertising. It has a local charm.
