Usually every time we visit Chicago it was really good, but this last visit, the food was so salty even the pizza. We had lasagna, spaghetti, and a large pizza all of it was so salty. We were shocked and most likely will not visit the place for awhile. Another problem with the place is that it only has 1 bathroom. It is a decent place to hold events but if they were tohost it, they would have more than 1 bathroom (1 stall). The staff is nice and the place is decent but I wouldn't hold an eventthere.
Jim Pete's excels at Italian. I first went there for the Chicago style deep dish (forget about that other place), but discovered so much more. The Signature thin crust pizza can't be beat—roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, garlic, fontina. I've also never had a bad entree. Didn't skip the antipasto.
A beautiful and quaint place for a nice dinner. Linguini and clams were the best. Service was a bit slow but not our server's fault look like they were short staffed this evening. I will happily return.

I had take out tonight and it was awful. The meatball sub didn?t include any cheese and the bread was very stale (my tooth hurts from tearing it! .
This is a fantastic spot for a cozy birthday dinner! The service and food were impeccable. I can't wait to come back!
I've been a huge fan of this place since I was a child. Just look at the crust's edge! I highly recommend it.
Delicious food and great service! I recommend stopping in and try one of the Francese dishes!
