Joe's Crab Shack

Dear Joes! Crabs and steam pots are divine. Beautiful open aesthetic with a lot of outdoor seating for warm weather. The service is fast and fast. The food was served fresh and hot. Zach was quick to make recommendations like the Queen Crab. He was a very attentive, friendly server and will make sure you are well looked after. Definitely recommend Joe's for large seafood and service!

So glad to have found this rare gem still existing in a special state. Every other state I lived in, or visited, their location had shut down permanently. This is the first place my mom took me to for my birthday and taught me how to crack crabs!

Very fruendly and nice service...food was great! Niced size portionsas well. The mozz bricks were an AMAZING APPETIZER...THE CHEESE TASTES SO FRESH....it wasnt chewy like most mozzt sticks.

The meal was amazing and it was my first time to go. The staff was very friendly, the server was also great. I want to come back when I'm back to West Des Moines. Thank you.

Fantastic staff from the entrance to the exit, extremely friendly and easy overall pleasant experience. Very with many options to eat and drink. I can't wait to go back.
