We stayed at the Kempinski hotel for a weekend we tried the restaurant 2 times for dinner. The menu card is nothing special, the a la carte selection is very narrow. I ate a Wiener Schnitzel was ok but too much cover too few meat..for 25€ found it definitely overpriced. When we Arrived first we were given a menu card without any prices inside..when we asked what happened they realized they gave us a wrong card we received the card of the half-board guests, although nobody asked us before if we have half-board or anything! My boyfriend ordered a calf filet the waitress left without asking him how he would like the meat to be prepared. They gave us no wine card we had to ask for everything our...
So far we had two dinners at the Johan's grill. The service is very friendly and attentive. Since we are traveling with our 2y old son and did not wanted to feed him with the usual junk that is being served for kids, we have asked for custom food for him. All went well, would not it be for my **** steak. I have got served unappealing and unappetizing piece of chewy meet. Would not it be for our kid I would return it straight away. But it would be difficult to make him sit for another 20minutes until new one would arrive. I must say, that it surprised me that despite I have complained we did not receive not even symbolic compensation. Better get fish...
We ate one night at the restaurant. We found it expensive for what was and what we ate. The food was just ok. I had the gravelachs as a starter - this was quite tasty nouvelle cuisine serving and presentation- and we both had the signature fish dish. It did not have much taste. I had a desert, this too was quite good. There were differences in the level of attention and service from one person to another. The sommelier was quite knowledgeable and friendly, the main person who attended us was not too detailed, we hd to remind her to order the side dishes for example.It was just ok.
We stayed at the hotel and went to this restaurant two times for breakfast and once for dinner. You get what you pay for, not inexpensive but very good. The staff were very friendly and allowed us five hungry and jetlagged travelers to come in and start breakfast 30 minutes early, while they were still arranging the food. Great selection. Dinner, too, was very good. And if you are lucky, you can enjoy a clear view of the surrounding mountains from inside.

of course it is hard to go to a hotel restaurant most of the days staying at the hotel, but here you can trust on high level hospitality. friendly stuff, good wines, fine kitchen. all is on the right place. the same for breakfast. i would say the best breakfast world-wide is kempinski breakfast.
I ate here with my mother. I would say the best breakfast I ever had. Child-friendly for sure. Outstanding.Here you can trust 5 stars, fine ... the breakfast was delicious, the whole stuff is professional and extreme friendly, ... the restaurant is outstanding on high level,
This is an amazing breakfast! Great variety and quality. Come hungry because it's a huge buffet and expensive. Attentive service, beautiful view. Worth the money if you can eat a lot that early in the morning. Eggs made to order.
As part of the Kempinski hotel, this restaurant provides a good range of food of a very high quality. The wine list is also extremely extensive and caters for all budgets.

We found the menu intriguing and very good price and quality ratio. Eating the tomahawk steak was definitely interesting experience.
