Friendly staff, but the food was just average. We stopped by for lunch after a shipwreck tour and ordered a chicken sandwich, mushroom Swiss burger, chicken tender basket, a rather unimpressive burger, and a grilled cheese. The coleslaw was quite soggy, and they didn't serve Dr. Pepper. It was clear that locals frequently visited, as the staff seemed to know their orders by heart, and they were very welcoming.

What a fantastic discovery! I was looking for a non-chain restaurant for breakfast, and this place was perfect! The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure my drinks were always refilled quickly. The food arrived in a timely manner, was served hot, and was absolutely delicious! I'm definitely planning to return soon!

It was literally so good! I loved the Cinnamon French Toast, and their eggs were cooked to perfection! Their lemonade was a good combo of sweet and sour! The bacon is literally so good too! The cinnamon rolls were completely giant and so were the pancakes!I completely recommend this diner!

I traveled 3,000 miles across the country several years ago and stopped at various local diners each morning. The breakfasts I had varied from barely edible to absolutely fantastic. Great, friendly staff, super clean, atmosphere is very homey, and they treat you like family. Small though, kind of tight fit, but they'll find a spot for ya. Food was great, and made exactly the way we ordered it. Perfect spot to sit down, or just pop in for a quick bite.

Our new favorite breakfast place when we visit Alpena! During our trip a few weeks ago, we enjoyed breakfast here twice. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic on both occasions. They also serve the BEST homemade bread!

We all got the Cinnamon French toast and it was really good. The restaurant its self is old and out dated. Staff very friendly!
