Upon opening the box(that I should have checked before leaving the drive through , I was greeted with a pizza that looked like it had been in one of those Domino's pizza commercials where the driver does everything but run over the pizza! It was originally made very poorly and was so thin there was hardly any crust. When I tried to pick up a piece, it just tore up. So I decided that I would call and ask for a replacement. While on a business trip to West Monroe, I ordered a 10 pepperoni and olive pizza and a 2 liter of coke. I did not want a 2 liter, but the store does not carry smaller sizes. My hotel is less than a mile from the store. I attempted to order online, but the site did not recognize the hotel address and would not let me order. I had to call to order which wasn't a big deal. The young lady I spoke with was very nice. The order arrived about an hour later and the driver was also very nice. The pizza was awesome. Great job on quality. The order was a little less than $19 with tax.
This is the party pizza I picked up last night and because I live all the way out in Eros and did not order the pizza until 10pm and they close at 11pm, there was no way I could have brought this back to exchange it for another one by closing time. The pizza was hard as a rock. It barely even had anything on it (sauce, cheese, toppings). It was hard to even try the 2 pieces of pizza I ate. Thank God I had breadsticks to eat on. I laughed when the local told me that this place is the best pizza around. This pizza is actually worse than Pizza Hut which I thought was an impossible task to achieve. Being from the east coast, I know good pizza and if this is the best you get here, I feel sorry for you. This is not pizza, stick with your crawfish and gumbo!
I absolutely adore Johnny's Pizza. They never let me down. I usually order takeout for lunch and the price per person ranges from $10 to $20. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend trying their Sweep the Kitchen dish.
I 've had much worse. Nothing special about it. Chain pizza, relatively thin crust, cut midwestern tavern style. Flavors were pretty good. I ordered the veg out. Crust has a chain like taste but it wasn 't soggy or over sauced. Overall pizza was well cooked and inexpensive.
The restaurant has really improved. The pizzas, muffaletta, and peach dessert were all perfect, just like the original Johnny's. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. This is a must-try spot for dinner, with a price range of $30-50 per person.

I grew up eating Johnny's at this location and have always loved it. Tonight I called 5 or 6 different times over the course of 30 minutes and nobody ever answered. When I passed by the place, they hardly looked busy. Disappointing.
