This recently rebadged café with a fabulous position continues to struggle. My husband and I both opted to have the lunchtime special $22 per head for a selected menu and a drink from the bar or a coffee. My husband had a lamb salad, and was reasonably satisfied with that. I opted for a haloumi salad, and asked if it could be made GF. Was assured that yes, absolutely, so ordered that.When our meals first arrived, I looked at my plate and asked the waitress what the grain was that was replacing the farro (composed of grains of certain wheat species, so definitely containing gluten). I was brightly informed that it was barley. "Does the chef realise that barley also contains gluten?" I asked....
Had a great dinner with friends. WIt was very busy and our meals took about 45 mins, however the staff were great and were attentive to our drinks while we waited. It was worth the wait, as we all enjoyed our meals. I had the Ruben burger and it was fantastic.We were able to split our bill and pay separately, which is excellent for a restaurant to do. When we went to pay, our waiter kindly gave us all our first round of drinks on the house due to our longer than usual wait for our meals, this was offered without any prompting from us. The reason for the average rating all has to do with the service.My family and I went for dinner at 830 on the 17/11/2016. Firstly It took ages to have someone serve us. When we finally got to place our orders we had 2 beers and 2 ciders as our drinks order. The ciders came in no time. 15 mins later we got our starters but no beers. 20min in we asked the waitress for the beers and she said they are on their way. 30mins still no beers. We asked a different waitress who then informed me that my selection wasn't even there. I found that a bit strange as no one had told me in the 30min waiting. The rebirthing of Me and Mrs Jones has moved it from a cafe to a restaurant. Whilst it is still in the same place the layout, decor and menu are now more fitting for a restaurant rather than the cafe it used to be.The food is very good and very reasonably priced and there is a good choice of dishes. A good option is to order two small plates rather than a single main course. The wine list is very good alsoI would have rated it more highly had the service been a bit more attentive. I was very impressed by Jones and Co. The soft shell crab was incredibly large and well-seasoned, and the oysters were great. The restaurant had an extensive wine list and the staff had good cocktail knowledge. The salmon was perfectly cooked, served with rice and spinach. The risotto was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning. While it may be on the expensive side, I believe it is worth it.
We were pleasantly surprised by this Asian/modern Australian/European fusion restaurant. Sharing the entrees and small plates with another person was a delightful experience. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, the duck was perfectly crispy, and the lamb ribs were tender and flavorful. The ambiance was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Overall, it is a fantastic restaurant that we would definitely visit again.
We visited Canberra for weekend stay and really enjoyed the food in this restaurant . I loved the oyster bar with fresh oyster. It was fun to watch the chef opened the oyster and serve in front of you . He is really skilful and professional . Surprisingly good asian/modern Australia/European fusion restaurant. Really enjoyed the entrees and small plates to share among 2 people. The Sashimi was quite fresh, the duck was crispy, and the lamb ribs were very tender and tasty. It has nice vibes and friendly staff. Overall, it's a great restaurant, and we will choose to go back again some time.

The steak with mushroom sauce and broccolini was a delightful combination of classic flavors with a modern twist. The pears and waves dessert, which can also be enjoyed as a sweet brunch with yogurt, was a standout dish. Overall, the dining experience was quite good.
Fantastic environment，not bad service，but small plate may not fill me. it opens til 11pm. I will go and try dinner with friends. Hope it better than today.
