The kitchen was up from 17:00. The time until then (20 minutes) we have brewed with drinks. We had pumpkin soup, carving and spinach dumplings. The portions were large enough (contrary to some movements we have become very tired, although we are good eaters) and it was well prepared, as well as deliciously prepared. We must all get used to higher prices. But the restaurant is also in top location. Despite the beginning of autumn, we sat outside in the sun directly at the market place.
An Austrian restaurant is not necessarily expected at the marketplace in Wismar. But a visit is worth it. In addition to the friendly service, a small map of selected Austrian specialties such as Kasnocken or the classic Wiener Schnitzel awaits. Unlike other restaurants in Wismar, vegetarian options are also available. And they're delicious. So if you don't like roasted fish with roast potatoes, you should go to Joseph.
After our first exploration tour we landed in Joseph, as this location has already been positively noticed during the exploration of the marketplace. The staff is very nice and accommodating and not intrusive. The dishes are nicely dressed and extremely tasty. Prices are arranged in the middle segment and are quite justified. Small but fine menu. Very nice outdoor seating, with views of the market place.
The restaurant lives with its staff who are always present at the guest without disturbing. We felt very well looked after here as a guest. Dear team, you realize you love the job. The music was too loud for us. My onion roast had great potato talers and a good sauce. The piece of meat was perfectly fried, but unfortunately not perfectly pared, which is not always so easy. We were here for an ice cream and a coffee. Ambience, service and menu have made us curious. A few hours later we set ourselves to the previously reserved table. There were Tatar, real Wiener Schnitzel and Kalbsgulasch. To make it short: everything was incredibly delicious. The service is super attentive. We had a great evening. Thank you
We were welcomed very friendly without reservation. In an extremely appealing atmosphere we enjoyed a perfect Austrian cuisine. The questions on the courts were fully answered and recommendations were made. Kaasnockerln, Schwammerlgulasch mi t Knödeln and Kaiserschmarrn zum Dessert. Perfect ingredients, perfect operation. Always like it.

Nice location and very nice service. Unfortunately, the food is quite unhurried, small portions and very expensive. Everything is pretty but even the Kaiserschmarrn lacks sugar and tastes for nothing. Shame
