I just ordered the Spicy Pork Teriyaki with white rice, which also came with a small salad. The total was $20.55. I was disappointed with the portion sizes, as there was much more rice than meat—about three-quarters rice to one-quarter meat. It's worth noting that lunch and dinner portions are the same, but dinner costs more. While the dish tastes good, the meat portions are the same for both lunch and dinner, which seems unfair.
I absolutely love Joy Teriyaki! The egg rolls are fantastic! Normally, I skip them at other places, but after reading a review, I decided to give them a try. I recently had a mix-up with my order, so I called the restaurant, and they were incredibly apologetic. They delivered a brand new order, still steaming hot and including those delicious egg rolls. Absolutely delicious! I checked out the reviews and decided to give it a try. The cashier was really friendly and recommended the combo, which was definitely worth it. The teriyaki here is fantastic! I've been visiting Joy for over a decade, even when they were in Glendale Heights. The portion sizes are generous, and the service is quick. The food was amazing! The crispy chicken and chicken nuggets were delicious, and my toddler and pre-teen enjoyed every bite. The place was extremely clean, and the sauces on each table were just right. Food: 5/5
The food is great, and there’s more than enough to take some home—so you definitely won't leave hungry. It's mainly a self-service setup, so don’t expect any points for service.
Quick service, delicious food, and great prices! I had a weekday lunch for around $10, and the portion was substantial! I absolutely love the food here! I highly recommend it.
