we had a very friendly waitress that gave me food suggestions that came out excellent had the shrimp boil that had great spices to it my husband had the catfish and shrimp the pieces were very generous. We also got to seat outside with our dog and meet some really friendly gentleman that were friends with the owner that also asked if we needed anything and offered my husband a beer .. would definitely recommend great portion size and food was delicious??Parking: we walked to the restaurant but there was plenty of parking out front and a handicap spot and they had seating outside which I liked because we had our dog
The beignets were quite disappointing. They had the taste of deep-fried croissants dusted with powdered sugar, accompanied by an unusual aftertaste. Unfortunately, they weren't the authentic beignets I was hoping for. The portion was only six small squares, and I didn't feel it was worth the $6.99 price tag. As for the shrimp bowl, it was equally unsatisfying—lacking flavor even with the mild seasoning.
Nice clean place with good and pleasant service. Few seats inside. Food was basically okay. We had shrimp and oysters. Boudin balls were good. Oysters not good. Shrimp good. No Cajun dishes available such as jambalaya or gumbo No Creole etc Name is misleading. Or, was to us. Disappointed us based on previous reviews.
I did not like my shrimp po boy the shrimp seem to be in a tempura batter and the only condiment they add to the po boy is tartar sauce. My beignets tasted like they have been cooked in old cooking oil and seem to be just croissant dough rolled into squares.... With barely any powdered sugar.

The food here is delicious! I always come back for the catfish and wings. The staff is very friendly too.
I love the grilled fish with all sides my favorite place if I'm feeling rice veggies and fish 10/10
