Kalaveras - Reservar una mesa

I had a reservation at the restaurant, but they called me 10 minutes before to cancel because they were closing early due to low attendance. This left my family without dinner plans on New Year's Eve, despite having confirmed the reservation earlier in the day. It was a disrespectful and disappointing experience, especially as we were there to celebrate the holiday with my college son, who couldn't be home because of his commitments as a student athlete. However, we were fortunate enough to find a welcoming alternative at The Mission Square Restaurant and Lounge on Penn Street. They were accommodating, served great food, and had amazing staff. I highly recommend dining there instead.

I wanted to take my family here and they had a good time. The food was good and so was the agua frescas. Our server Patricio, I believe, was very nice and quick. Only think was the menudo, it wasn’t good. Tasted like it’s been there for a while and not a good flavor but the rest of the food like the pasta a la diabla, chicken fajitas and el mocajete were delicious. Definitely will come back again, music is less louder than in the evenings so you can have a good clear conversation.

Not the best location. Would definitely try Montebello instead, went for brunch and the menu was very underwhelming. Other locations have the brunch buffet laid out this one doesn’t. Energy in the restaurant was very dead but all the workers were nice food was ok not the best to come back but the drinks are worth it for sure

Thank you so much for helping us celebrate my daughter's 32nd birthday! Kalaveras is her favorite restaurant and we absolutely love it too. We are grateful for their excellent service and for everything they did to make her birthday so special.

Staff was nice, nothing above and beyond, but friendly. Food was very good, even my kids ate all their food. You get ships and salsa while you wait and the salsa is good and not too spicy.

Louie was great great making sure we had refill’s that we had enough of whatever we needed. Definitely great service overall.

Great place! It's a perfect spot to get some fun drinks and quality food. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.
