Karen's Diner Forest Hill

The food amazing service was great but it was not enough staff to make the experience amazing. The young fella that was the only wait staff was fantastic at his job he was doing his absolute best to entertain the customers but it was not the best I think it could have been if they had more staff to have fun with the customers we love the concept of Karen's bit I feel it is on too much of a budget to really get the experience I've seen on the internet that Karens give. I would hope that you could pay more staff to be rude and make people have an amazing time... The poor wait staff where really busy just doing the actual table service and in turn didn't get a chance to actually have some fun w...

Completely understand the intention of the diner and was looking forward to blunt service with quirky energy to unwelcome us to the diner with unbotheredness. Unfortunately the diner seamed understaffed and the service was not the experience that was implied by the name of the diner. It was rushed between tables and very little interaction with the staff due to the rushed nature. Standard poor service of an understaffed restaurant which cannot be helped by the pre-existing staff. Very little Karen energy unfortunately which was disappointing as we had chosen the diner on this expectation. Sorry for the review, do not mean to be a Karen….

I had a unique experience at this restaurant, thanks to the entertaining and cheeky service from one of the waitresses, especially since the outlet will be closing this week. While the dips and drinks were tasty, I found them to be quite overpriced. Lowering the prices could definitely improve their chances of success! My 10-year-old stepdaughter really enjoyed the experience too—she said it was the funniest restaurant visit she’s ever had. We would consider coming back for the novelty if the prices were more reasonable.

The food we received was not what we ordered, and we were rushed to eat and finish. I understand the "Karen" stereotype, but shouldn't we have the right to receive the correct food? Is getting served the wrong meals part of the service? We were apparently substituted for various items without any prior communication about the changes. There were no Coke products or sweet potatoes, and the berry waffles came with nothing that was mentioned on the menu, aside from the waffles themselves. Reserva una mesa ahora

Absolutely **** ! Whilst the concept might be funny the actual service was horrible. Very unprofessional, sloppy and rude. Nothing pleasant nor humerous about the experience. staff dont really understand the concept and dont know how to make it fun. Food was not even good, brisket burger was just a lump of stringy meat.

Bit boring, same old insults nothing new. Only 1 staff member working so she was stretched, even though only 4 tables filled, to much for 1 person. Had to ask if she could do a 'game ' for the kids and was told she was stressed. Been once now, a novelty but that 's enough for us

Loved it! From the minute we walked in we were entertained. Lots of laughs, food delicious and a dining experience to remember.
