Kings and Queens Liberian Cuisine

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! I really go about twice a week. Lol the staff knows me by name, they know what I’m eating as soon as i walk in the door. I don’t even need a menu! I get the potato greens with extra pepper sauce! I love it! I always persuade friends and family to come with me and they love it and enjoy the experience as well! Thanks for being so kind to me every time I come there!

Although west philly has a tonne Ethiopian and Eritrean options, other African cuisine is less common. kings and queens have covered them for liberian food, they have a dedicated vegan menu, and often adapt to menu items and specificities on request. Among my favorites are the vegan potato green and Jollof rice as well as the juices. Sometimes they also have vegan dessert specialties.

I wanted to buy the cassava leaves, but this option was not available. I had the kartoffel greed with rice. it was absolutely delicious. reminded me to cook my grandmother. they have some vegan options, hopefully it will be more vegan option. this place is an absolute must try. many thanks, chef, they have brought west african food to a whole new level.

kings queens was last year a philly vegan restaurant weekend participant, and the menu was amazing. the vegan potato greens are among the best vegan options in philly, and as a bonus they also had a lot of vegan puddings for dessert. the owner is very good about vegan food, and they have a fully vegan food shop. I love this place, the staff is friendly and the owner is super cool. I swear I could eat this food everyday. They get better and better with every visit. Love it!!

Food was hot fresh and very flavorful. The meats are prepared to order but the wait is worth it. This is our 5th time here and it's never disappointing.
