We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant, with a bit of help from Tripadvisor, after a long hot day of sightseeing. It’s tucked away on a pleasant corner, and although at first we had to sit inside, we were soon invited to take an outside table that became free. I’d more or less figured out the German menu, but when the mâitre d’ realised we were English speakers, an English menu was produced. The food was delicious: a very tasty Ligurian fish soup for my partner and a goat’s cheese and apple “lasagnetta” for me, accompanied by the excellent Franconian wine of the month, a luscious Müller-Thurgau. Stopped here based on recommendation of nearby wine shop owner and I was not disappointed. Small restaurant a block off a busy street with both inside and outside seating. The staff spoke English well and were very friendly and helpful. I went with the 4 course chef's selection with the wines. However, I asked if it could be done without seafood since I am not big on fish and the waiter said yes, he would work with the chef. Each course is something I would have ordered if given the choice. This restaurant was a recommendation from our friends, and we did not regret it. Starters they have are rather in Asian style; the main courses are from German cuisine. So, if you want to try something local, but in a new interpretation, you should give this place a chance. Perfect for a special occasion like a Birthday dinner, as the place is a bit pricey (but worth it :

We had gotten a tip Of this place. Made a bookin for saturday evening. Located in a nice area Of Hamburg. Cozy place but we were not taken away by the food sadly. Nothing really wrong just not memorable for us.

very nice atmosphere and pleasant service. We went there with a friend and got the last table. Hence, the service lost a bit track of us, but nevertheless we can recommend this place.
