If you're looking for a place that is charming, rustic, and friendly and your not afraid to cross the tracks this is the place. The beer is super cold, the food is great and the staff will look after you well. We visited a few...times and enjoyed all of our visits with the locals who really helped us learn more about the valley overall. If you're looking for the nicest place in town you may consider others but this place wins the award for the friendliest, and when you combine it with the other elements of food and drink, it is a winner.

My husband and I stopped in for typical pub food which is just what we got. The server was excellent. We enjoyed the dry ribs and cross track fries. The other guests included folks who were drinking copious amounts before noon, and brought down...the atmosphere in regards to dignity. Simple atmosphere, with two pool tables and a patio. Recognized an impressive sound system that is likely used at night. All in all, good for a typical pub.

Drove up from Bonners Ferry to go to dinner and enjoy a beer with my husband and son. The Canadian border patrol officer recommended Kokanee Inn. I was a little skeptical when we walked in. There isn't much decor and it's clearly an older bar,...but the staff were amazingly friendly and the burgers were delicious. This is a place I will definitely come back to.

A great place to have a few drinks and speak with the locals until it gets late. Then it becomes a place not so welcome to outsiders. I had a great time until one younger gentleman made it obvious I was not allowed in his...local watering hole, so I politely left. Has a few pool tables with a year long running tournament for the locals.

We had a birthday party at the Kokanee Inn on a Sunday when the kitchen is normally closed, but Jack the owner called in his staff to do our birthday supper for us which turned out superb. Thanks to Jack and his staff...for a wonderful evening. Kokanee Inn.

I have a very hard time ordering anything other than the BC Burger. I have had burgers at Hodads in San Diego and these are tastier, and almost as big. Best burger I've had in BC by far and the fries are excellent. Small little Pub with great food.

Amazing place! We had a really awesome meal, time and good fun. Look forward to going back to Kokanee to see Jack and the crew. Heads up NLH specialist.

Typical small town pub. Where everyone knows your name. Outstanding clam chowder Friday’s. Tuesday’s, wing night. Wednesday’s steak sandwich..awesome!

Some people might find this a charming experience but not us. Only good thing was the service but not the atmosphere or food.
