Sadly I was disappointed in our visit. This is somewhere we visit on our trip to visit family in that area and it has changed in the past 3 years. I once worked in this area over 15 years ago and this location was great. On this occasion, upon entry, the floor was sticky but sectioned off with caution signs which was odd, becasue there were at LEAST 10 employees standing around on their phones, laughing and talking amongst each other at the tables placed around the store. To start, the donuts were not fresh. The donuts alone get maybe 3 stars. But the staff was incredibly rude and tried to enforce a mask mandate that expired three weeks ago. I advised them that my family and I have medical exemptions and they demanded to see proof. I, of course, declined because my medical history is between my doctor and I. They had several people chiming in that it was law to wear a mask and that I thought I was above the law. They were incredibly rude and told me to hurry up
Went 5 o'clock in the evening and they were made fresh. Can't go wrong with Krispy Kreme. I feel like they have gotten smaller though. One bite and it's gone. As you can see, before I could even take a picture some were eaten! We tried a 4 pack of the minis which were okay. Just the same as the regular really. They are super sweet. I wish we were still in the day where every box came out warm.
So disappointing, these were not fresh first thing in the morning very small for whatever reason. I wanted to go in , but of course the lobby was closed on a Sunday Morning. I saw they had at least 6 people from the window. The donuts were nasty, tried to microwave them ,threw them away. I'll just continue with DD at least there donuts are consistent and lobby is open. I may be a little ashamed to admit it, but I visited this restaurant specifically for their festive Christmas and Easter donuts, and I was delighted! Not only did they look amazing, but they tasted delicious too. The duck dish may have seemed a bit comical, but it was also quite charming.
The restaurant provided fast and friendly service in a clean and welcoming environment that was not overcrowded. It was easy to find my items and located near the main road. I appreciated the patience of the staff member as I made my specific requests for my order.
