Located along the main avenue of the quaint town of Barbotan, Marie Clare operates L'Estanquet, a simple restaurant with exceptional food. Open from 8 am until 7pm, plan your breakfast, lunch, or take out menu from the fine selection of well prepared meals made from local produce and nearby farms. During the warm months enjoy patio dining, with the hustle and bustle of the market surroundings on Wednesdays. You won't be disappointed.

When I am in this area I have my morning coffee here every day and always get a very warm welcome despite my awful French and inability to understand the bill if it is not written down. I have eaten here a couple of times over the years and the food is very good and the portions huge! Sitting outside this restaurant and watching the sun go down is kind of what France is all about.

Exceptional food, excellent quality and value for money.. You will be well looked after in a warm and friendly family atmosphere! For Irish coffee lovers, ask for the 'Thierrysh ' coffee by far the best one for miles around you will not be disappointed.. Brian. Paris!
