Great and very Friendly customer service. Good size portions. Great Chips, but and most importantly to me the salsa is amazing, the pico de gallo is good but their regular salsa is very flavorful and distinct, it has a good kick which is important to me but the flavor profile is not like your regular salsa, I am still trying to figure out what chiles they used. As someone who has ate mexican food his entire life, being of Mexican heritage, I usually find it hard to find food that's to my liking, so far I've only had the Carne Asada Torta which was really good, but I'll definitely be coming back for their chiles rellenos and menudo, will update after Menudo.
La Adelita is one of the only Mexican Restaurants that we visit frequently in Monrovia. We hadn?t tried it and noticed their taco cart out on a Friday, we grabbed a carne asada and a chicken street taco for 99 cents and enjoyed them along with the salsas. After that we?ve tried quite a few things but our favorite is the super burrito with chicken. We ask for half red and half green sauce and it?s great! For $12 you get an amazing burrito that is truly 3 pounds heavy! The waitress is always sweet and helpful. So glad to have found this place!
Today we decided to try Enchiladas Verdes with scrambled eggs and home potatoes. Oof! The salsa verde was perfect, not spicy, but very savory and tasteful. They gave us chips and salsa and the salsa was delicious. To round off a perfect brunch, I had a raspberry tea. Next time I want to try her margaritas!
