My friend and I came here in the summer and sat outside in their backyard and were eaten alive by mosquitoes. We had a few bites to enjoy the beautiful outside and beautiful weather. I had a lively social deal and I ordered the pork chops and my friend ordered the salmon. The food was good, but the portions were small for a Spanish stain. They had these sweet Cuban cigar boxes for bread. I wanted to drink a frozen mango, but they didn't have all the ingredients, so I decided for water. 10 minutes later my beautiful looking mango daiquiri comes. It wasn't the best Daiquiri I had, but I was really grateful for the bartender from his way to make my drink. The staff was super friendly and I would definitely check this point again.
Two very different experiences on separate occasions. The first time I was there for my birthday during the brunch hours. Eating was fine, they forgot two orders from our party of 8, but it was made fast and there were no other problems except drinks. Pretty weak imo, I think I had my 4th Sangria and didn't really feel much of a buzz. The second time was for a family event. Much larger group and the service was slow, but from what I heard no orders were messed up. But this time the drinks were much stronger. I don't know if it was because it wasn't brunch anymore, but the Sangria brought a much bigger blow than the previous time. Overall, the service could have been better. I wouldn't mind drinking there, but not eating.
This was our first time at La Cabana and we all were totally satisfied with our selections from the menu--fried calamari, avocado salad, ribeye steak, sirloin steak and grilled shrimp. The entrees included side dishes. We ordered a bottle of pinot noir which complemented the meal perfectly. They were generous portions and filled us completely! The staff was friendly and efficient. It was an enjoyable dining experience for all. I would definitely return.
Returning after a while away of this place found that it is still great I would only request to put skirt steak (got hanger steak) and to use Argentinean sausage in their parrilladas. The staff is great, Christian (good cocktails), Victor and Andres make you feel so good. I tried the Pampero Steak, short ribs, parrillada and cannelloni Al it was good.
