La Cantina Bay - Reserva de mesa

The service was friendly, but unfortunately, our waitress forgot the sides I had ordered, and we were still charged for them. (My husband didn’t realize I hadn’t received them and paid the bill that included the charge.) The food was rather mediocre and lacked flavor, although that might be because I'm from Southern California and am accustomed to authentic Mexican cuisine. Since moving to New York, I haven't yet found a good Mexican restaurant, but I'm determined to keep searching. On a positive note, the mozzarella sticks were the best I’ve ever tasted, and the view of the sunset over the water was absolutely beautiful.

Quaint little 8 table restaurant serving up some sizable and authentic mexican dishes. Doesn’t hurt it also offers a beautiful beach front view of Long Island sound. The cocktails are prepared well, appetizers fresh and if I must say, the carne asada is mind blowing good. I’ve been coming here for few years now and the friendly atmosphere makes it all worth while. It’s a bit out of the way, but trust me, they’re worth the trip. Service: Dine in

The staff is friendly, polite, and attentive. I had the paella for the first time last night, and it was exceptional. The fish was fresh, the dish was flavorful, and the portion size was generous.
