La Diosa Cellars - Reserva de mesa

Just had a terrible experience at noon at La Diosa. We planned to pick up some tappas to take to McPherson to go with our wine tasting, which we have done before. When we arrived, a male server or manager let us in as they were just opening. We told him what we were planning and he stated he thought they only had small to-go boxes and possibly pizza boxes but he would check. We were seated and greeted by a server who was very nice. He said he also thought they had small to-go boxes but then the other server/manager came over to correct him and say they don't do to-go on Fridays and Saturdays. Tonight we went for a glass of wine and some appetizers, there was three women. We walked in and ordered the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. It was quiet, nice music. Everything was perfect. we ordered a few pizzas, a cheeseboard and some shrimp. After we ordered, the waitress came back to us and said can you let me know how long you guys are gonna be here cause we have a big party coming in?? Definitely threw us off. We felt uncomfortable and unwanted. Hopefully this was just us one time off. We hope to go back soon, will give it one more try.

Went by during graduation weekend so the only option available was the bar for drinks and dessert. The place is very vintage, eclectic, with a lot of Frida inspiration. I ordered a sparkling sangria that was not very sparkling, but tasted pretty good. Would have liked to try the food as it smelled great coming out today the kitchen.

Amazing Spanish bistro food. Every dish was outstanding. The atmosphere is so eclectic but fun. Hard to reconcile find this place in Lubbock TX but shows me on our first visit to this town that it is not your average north Texas town Reserva una mesa ahora

Delightful ambience. Top tier service. Maybe the live music should be in Spanish since we were in a Spanish restaurant. The Lorena did not taste like it was made from scratch. The albóndigas were amazing.

I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, but they are really high pieces for what you get. You're paying entre prices for small appetizers. Good concept and good food, just way over priced.

This wine bar is absolutely charming, featuring an eclectic interior in the Depot District. The tapas were delightful, and we enjoyed sipping on sangria while listening to live music.
