This meal was truly exceptional from start to finish. We were lucky enough to score a last minute booking and were so happy we detoured on our way from Bordeaux down to San Sebastian. The food was divine. Such attention to detail and being vegan...based there was NOTHING we had to say, please no this, and please no that! Such a treat. The food was art on a plate, with a storyline and every course was a feast for the eyes and for the taste buds. An amazing experience, well worth the detour and I would definitely love to go back again. The menu changes with the seasons and uses only the finest freshest ingredients. A masterpiece on each plate made with love! Book in advance though not to miss...
You have Michelin and you have MICHELIN! Ate in different Michelin restaurants but this is next level. This is an experience! Every course is such a surprise and every time I got knocked of my feet. We did the full experience including paring wines. The...advise in wines was perfectly matched to the courses. The personnel of Ona is lovely and are working their asses off to make everyone happy and feel comfortable. The ambiance is perfect and the styling is inspiring. This is absolutely the future for Michelin restaurants and where there is no use of animal cruelty products. Thank you so much for this unbelievable evening!
Finding a vegetarian restaurant in France is already a surprise, finding a vegan one with his high quality of food is amazing! We came across it by pure chance, and booked a table a week in advance (they were booked the first evening we passed)....The food is prepared in such a way that all the flavours come out, its presented in an amazing way that makes you just want to peek through it to get at all the individual flavours... And in the end just try it all together to be susprised by the combination. If you're in the vicinity, and even if you think vegan food is not for you... Try it anyway. You will be blown away.

We were advised on entry that only a set menu was available. There followed a series of beautifully presented, vegetarian dishes, prepared using fresh herbs from the garden and organic vegetables. Particularly noteworthy was the marrow with a quinoa nut risotto for main course. Unusual...bright and airy decor. Only criticism would be that I could have eaten more.
