La Flambee - Reservar una mesa

I have just realised that despite the fact I have eaten here hundreds of times, I have never actually reviewed it! Warm and cosy inside in the winter and busy and buzzy outside in the summer. It is a tradition that I have to come here with ALL of my guest and I have never had a bad evening. The galettes are wonderful, the service is always great and I always love the music. My only complaint is when the restaurant closes for a few weeks in February and I get withdrawal symptoms for an Ariegeoise!

The gizzard salad is one of the best that I've eaten combined with duck wings, fries, and an espresso, it was a good three course meal. Didn't actually need the salad that came with the main course, after having a salad for an entree, but it was good anyhow. One could choose from desserts or coffee, I chose coffee. I was not disappointed.

I have been to most of the restaurants in Mirepoix but I keep coming back here. It's tucked down a street off the main square. The menu du jour is 14.5eur and is always excellent. I cannot think of a better place to spend a summer's evening.

Our last night of a weeks holiday in the Mirepoix area we dined here. Very good starter, excellent pizza which was very popular along with the moules marinière. Only slight let down was the dessert of crepe which was a bit overpriced.

Ate here several times while staying in Mirepoix for two weeks. Always busy. Meals were always great, good service, no complaints. Menu du jour great value - 14 or 15 euros IIRC. Cassoulet was good, crepes were great. Check it out.
