Being caught in a storm, arriving soaking wet at a beach restaurant for dinner and then being cared for as if you belonged to their family! Marin who offered his shirt to my son and Wibke, the manageress putting our clothes in the dryer personally were the angels we had no idea of before last night. Situated on a long white sandy beach this restaurant offered exactly what we needed last, an excellent meal with friendly staff who understood our situation perfectly. It was great and I would never visit Sylt without going to La Grande Plage again.
Lovely place by the beach. Nice menu where everyone can find something for themselves. We had fresh mackerel - very tasty. And Apfel strudel for desert was one of the best we ever had. Restaurant has a nice terrace with a sea view. As it is the only restaurant in this part of the beach it's quite busy all the time. Nice espresso as well.
Had lunch here and was not disappointed! Sat outside, facing the ocean. Food was delicious, and the service was nice. The price is on the affordable range, paid 50€ for two! Not bad I'd say. After lunch, take a stroll along the shore!
If you want to enjoy good food and drinks in a laid back atmosphere and watch the sunset this is where you go. For a nice evening with friends or my special someone when the weather is nice, this is where I go.

just had drinks, place is nice and owner super friendly. even during break he continued to serve. food should be nice but i didnt try.
Great atmosphere, very nice location and very well prepared food. Staff was exceptionally nice, which is not guaranteed in Sylt.
