La Grappa - Reserva de mesa

The restaurant serves italian cuisine. The food was very delicious, the decoration somewhat garish. The prices were however very high, we paid more than 90 euros per person, and the quality was good but not something you can not get elsewhere for considerably less money....The service was swift but pushy and arrogant. The patron, when asked if it was possible to have a glass of wine (instead of a bottle), reponded in an contemptuous manner that he does not run a bistro. Afterwards he -sort of- apologised for it, offering the option of getting a glass instead of a bottle. We opted for the bottle version however, and the waiter proceded to open a new bottle of wine (when the first was finished...

We ate here with a group of collegues. The service staff were very welcoming and started with a aperitive. But they where in a hurry. so 5 minutes after that they where allready pouring wine for the starter. all the food we ate was wonderfull,...fresh and full of flavour. The wine was also excellent. but the service was to hasty. like they wanted to go home. The decoration is very out dated, it's probably the look they are going for...but I would give the restaurant a make-over. to give it a fresher look. would eat here again if they did that. otherwise there are other restaurants with better atmosphere.

Wir kennen das La Grappa nun schon über 30 Jahre.Es ist für Kenner der italienischen Küche einfach fenomenal und bietet bei jedem Besuch eine neue kulinarische Überraschung.Der zuvorkommende top Service , welcher vom Patrone ständig überwacht wird tut ein Übriges zur Wohlfühlathmosphäre .Die geniale worin- und Grappaauswahl sei nicht unerwähnt und sucht seines gleichen.Leider muss man nach einem Besuch des La Grappas immer einen Chauffeur oder ein Taxi nutzen um nach Hause zu kommen.

In all den Jahren hat sich nicht viel geändert . Immer noch ein wenig plüschigNetter Service , der Chef selbst kontrolliert . Alle sehr aufmerksam und freundlich .Das Essen , wir hatten lunch menue mit 3 Gängen . Leicht , locker geschmackvoll .Was will man mehr . Gute Weinkarte , ein bisschen teuerer als gewohnt , aber Siehe oben - service .Kurzum immer noch eine sehr gute Adresse in Essen . Salute Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant exist forever and had rarely changed, so you can find a lot of history. The service is excellent and you will be perfectly treated. The food is very good and high level. The restaurant is walking distance to the main station at the...RWE Tower. The only downside is the very cosy seating due to the limited space.

Absolutely wonderful Italian food perfectly explained by the owner-Maitre d. If you want a variation from the menu, just tell him what you want and it will be done. The home made pasta with shrimp I had done with tomato and garlic and it was marvelous !

We were desperate to find a place to eat after a long opera found this one and luckily they took us in. Had a great salad wonderful gnocchi a bottle of wine and a coffee each. Not cheap but totally worth it. Very...attentive service. Will be back!

Советую сходить.Уютно, комфортно. Дизайн странный, что под руку попалось:)Вкусные лобстер и суп. Рыба неплохая, но гарнир ко всем рыбным блюдам один - ризотто (не очень).А десерты прекрасные, смотрите фото.Думаю лучший ресторан в этом районе. Reserva una mesa ahora

Nach einiger Zeit mal wieder im La Grappa, meinem Lieblingsladen in Essen. Witziges Ambiente, gutes Essen, Hammer Weinkarte, cooler Chef. Hier passt alles zusammen!

Ein unvergesslicher Abend!!! Ganz große Klasse auf ganzer Linie, die Kellner top und amüsant und das Essen ein Traum
